a 4 year tattoo apprenticeship meets a 4 year fine arts degree.
I learned how to tattoo while studying at Emily Carr University.
This immersive art initiation describes the foundational years of my career and I’m so grateful to have developed my skill with a foot in two different art worlds.
Much of my tattoo work is informed by
my formal training in art theory and interest in art history.
When I’m not tattooing skin, I am creating art on paper and canvas … with a special love for the buttery effect of coloured pencils.
